Yes, because there's cultural diversity even within my Italian heritage. My mother is from the north of Italy and my father was from the south originally, from Puglia.
Our food and work is definitely influenced, as we have a great contingent of Asian people growing beautiful things in the markets and the Greek fishmongers are doing delicious things.
It's like the United Colours of Benetton around here, we've pretty much got every corner of the globe covered. At one point I said "Can we get some more Italians in here?"
Once people let their personality come through and feel comfortable, it creates a happy, energetic environment, which in turn also means you'll have happy customers!
