A recipe inspired by those delicious samosa pastries we crave from our local Indian restaurant. Using everyday ingredients, this quick family meal can be prepared in a flash from kitchen staples, and served with a splash of Heinz Yoghurt and Garlic dressing.
Preheat oven to 210ÂșC. Heat oil in a large frying pan. Cook curry paste and curry powder for 1 minute, or until fragrant. Add the potato, carrot and celery and cook for 6 - 8 minutes.
Stir in the Heinz Baked Beanz and 125ml water. Bring to the boil then simmer for 10 minutes. Season to taste then set aside to cool slightly.
Meanwhile, place a sheet of puff pastry on a parchment paper lined oven tray. Spoon the cooled vegetable mixture onto the pastry, ensuring the mixture is evenly distributed across the entire sheet, but allowing a 2cm margin clear around the pastry edge to seal.
Lightly brush the pastry edges with egg wash and place the second sheet on top of vegetable mixture. Seal the mixture in the pastry by pressing the pastry top to the pastry bottom and then finishing with a pinched or forked edge. Lightly brush the pastry top with egg wash and bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed
