A classic dish from the Middle East

Dressing

    • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 2 tsp sweet paprika
    • 2 tsp sumac
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Salad

  • 1 pita bread
  • 2 Lebanese cucumbers, halved lengthwise, cut into 1 cm slices
  • 2 medium tomatoes, cut into chunky pieces
  • Handful of baqli leaves (purslane)
  • 4-5 radishes, halved and thinly sliced
  • 4 leaves iceberg lettuce, torn
  • ½ red capsicum cut into 2 cm cubes
  • ½ green capsicum, cut into 2 cm cubes
  • ½ cup of mint
  • ½ cup flat leaf parsley chopped
  • 3 spring onions, sliced
