6 tomatoes
1 Garlic
1/4 ginger
1 handful mustard seeds
1 large chillies
1.5tsp yoghurt
1tsp milk powder or dried milk
Curry leaves- as you may like
Salt- to taste
Sugar- to taste
1.Cut the tomatoes, ginger, garlic into small pieces.
2. Heat up some oil in a pan and add tomatoes garlic and ginger to cook. Add both salt and sugar while cooking only.
3. Lower the heat and cover the pan with a lid till it's cooked.
4. In a separate pan heat some more oil. Add curry leaves and chillies first and once the change the colour add the mustard seeds to it. Wait till the mustard seeds break open and add the mix to the rest of the chutney.
5. Once everything is mixed put the chutney aside to cool.
6. Once its cooled blend up the chutney in a food processor by adding yoghurt and milk powder, but not too fine. (it should not be a paste, it should have chunks.
7. Serve as a side dish with your meals.
A tangy spicy chutney anyone will love.
