Dahi Baingan recipe is a combination of plain yogurt and eggplant with few spices gives a unique taste and goes very well as a side dish with rice or Indian roti(bread), paratha.
1 medium size eggplant cut into medium slices
1 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup water

1 teaspoon roasted cumin seed powder
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
pinch of black salt
1 teaspoon mustard seed
few curry leaves
2 dried red chilli

2 tablespoon oil
