How well do you know your family history? Think you know it better than the rest of your colleagues know theirs?
Encourage your staff to bring recipes that have been passed down generations (and across the seas) by awarding a prize for the oldest dish and the dish that has travelled the farthest. You could find out about other cultures that have influenced your family’s meal, learning something new about these cultures and your family tree in the process.
You could make the exercise interactive by hanging up a world map and plotting the different locations and cultures that your dish as been influenced by.
